Generalist recruiters lacked the knowledge and precision required to place the right candidate in front of the appropriate employer meaning both client and candidate were faced with lengthy recruitment processes or long lists of unsuitable clients.

As an experienced people manager, Dave spent most of his career developing highly successful teams to deliver great results within the Plant and Tool Hire Industry. Launching Embark Group and then Embark Recruitment in 2007 out of a frustration with the recruitment process for finding good, reliable staff, Dave has been fundamental in positioning Embark Recruitment as the leading provider of great people and business support services specifically to the Plant and Tool Hire Industry.
Heavily involved in the back office and IT side of Embark Recruitment, Deborah’s passion for recruitment developed following a motivation to help employees realise their future career ambitions. She is focused on ensuring that Embark Recruitment answers the staffing needs of clients and candidates alike. Concentrating on digital engagement, website management, networking, resourcing and communications, Deborah also manages the financial side of the business with responsibility for general accounts, credit control and bought ledger.
Having joined Embark Recruitment on an Apprenticeship in 2011, I have come to know my way around the Plant and Tool Hire Industry. I have developed my contact network and have honed the skills involved with aligning the right employer with their perfect candidate.
Working my way up from Recruitment Consultant to Recruitment Manager, I believe I am particularly skilled in really getting to know candidates and seeing what skills they have to offer. This allows me to ensure no time is wasted with inappropriate reviews of CVs or interviews for either the candidate or client. We focus on finding the right people so that employers can recruit and retain the very best people for their business.
